What's new.
1.1.0 beta — sync, free analysis days Beta
- Sync (optional, off by default) — sign in with Google or your email in Settings to back up your groups, loads, rifles, sessions and target photos to your own account and keep them in step across devices. Pause it, sign out or delete the cloud copy any time; data on the phone stays.
- Sign in with just an email — no Google account needed: enter your address, then the code we email you. No password.
- Pro follows your account — once you're signed in to Sync, Pro comes with you to another phone or a reinstall. Settings shows your Account ID for support.
- Free analysis days — Trend, Zero, Compare, Window, composites, and CSV and PNG exports are free on your first 3 days of use. Afterwards everything you made stays viewable; marking and saving groups stay free.
- Saved Compare and Window sessions — keep an analysis and reopen it later.
- New load from the wizard — create a load right where you pick it, without leaving the marking screen.
- Fonts built in — the app no longer fetches its fonts from Google each time it starts, so nothing leaves the phone unless you turn on Sync, and the proper fonts now show offline too.
1.0.0 — first release
The initial release. Everything below is in this build.
- Mark and measure — photograph a target, calibrate the scale, mark shots, and get extreme spread, mean radius, dispersion, CEP and offset from your point of aim. A photo taken at an angle isn't a problem: 4-corner calibration corrects the geometry itself, and one photo can hold more than one group.
- Marking that works with a finger — pinch to zoom and pan, press and hold to select a marker, drag to nudge it. A tap always places a shot, so two holes almost touching can both be marked. Glove mode widens the grab target and adds an on-screen nudge pad for when a precise drag isn't practical.
- Cold-bore shot — mark it, or promote a shot you already placed. Reported separately as distance from your aim point and from the group centre, and kept out of every group statistic.
- Rifles and barrels — track several barrels per rifle (Pro; free keeps one), with round counts for the action, each barrel, and since the last clean, kept correct across a barrel swap.
- Loads — charge, powder, bullet, seating and caliber, with per-group overrides for load development. A dedicated load-dev profile keeps a ladder's rungs out of that load's own Zero and Trend history until you promote a keeper charge into a real load.
- Velocity — paste a whole string of readings, pair them shot by shot, or import a chronograph's own exported file (LabRadar, MagnetoSpeed, or a generic column format). Paired readings show how much of a group's vertical the velocity explains, what's left once it's accounted for, plotted shot by shot — and flag when the shot that opened the group up was also a velocity outlier.
- Range sessions — one shared set of conditions (temperature, humidity, pressure, wind) for everything shot in one visit, instead of retyping them per group. Pressure can be read straight off your phone's barometer, on phones that have one.
- Analysis — trend charts across sessions (including cold-bore distance from your point of aim), a zero check filtered to one barrel and load, group comparison with a bootstrap test for whether two groups' dispersion actually differs, and a Window tab that finds the flattest run across a charge ladder and plots how every load in it shot.
- Confidence, not just a number — every dispersion figure on a group's detail screen carries a 95% confidence interval from your own shots once you have 5+, plus hit probability and R50/R90/R95 for a target size you choose. A called flier can be toggled out to see the group's numbers with and without it, without ever hiding the shot itself.
- Composite groups — pool several sessions into one, each source keeping its own colour and shape, plus a load's own pooled precision shown live on its edit screen.
- Archive, delete, undo — archive hides a group without touching its stats; delete stages behind a several-second undo window before anything is actually erased.
- Light and dark themes, switchable any time — light is built for reading the screen in direct sun.
- Everything offline — no account, no upload, no tracking.
